Wow what a lovely resort
I Live there!
Is it worth buying an apartment in La Torre?
I could see my apartment in your video lol. You parked right opposite. In answer to how many properties, there are just over 1,700 homes on the resort. The closed part of the hotel jaq was referring to isn't part of the hotel. That is the 'Business Centre'. It has been closed for some years now and was owned and operated by Polaris World before they went bust. It was intended for conferences and functions and was very nice when it was operational. Hope my added info is useful to you guys and if it is give my comment a like. Cheers!
Hi Shaun I took a couple of videos myself when I was out of the area around las terrazas and la torre local towns do you want them if so let me have an email
nice looking place but you can't help wondering what would happen if polaris ran into financial trouble again
It looks fab …but 120 monthly or 1440 a year seems like a lot, especially if you are on a pension, I am a little surprised 😮…. would this be normal rates on all golf communities…..I may have to rethink if so…
I'm in la torre right now
Left the drone at home ? Sorry
“Typical Spanish Tapas Bar”, yes, it looks like this place caters to English speakers. Very nice looking place, Shaun.
Great video, it's more like a small city to me, wow! Those homes look amazing but expensive.
Good tour around La Torre Golf Resort Shaun and Jackie! Amazing how vast this place is and well kept too!
An answer for Kate. In order to use the swimming pools you must have a residents/visitor wrist band which must worn I’m led to believe they are very strict on that rule. The Hilton charges a daily rate for the use of their facilities.
We have just bought on here and moving over June 25th. It’s an amazing place and beautifully kept. Our monthly fees are going to be 134 euros a month but may vary according to the property. Apart from the golf course it has the 5* double tree Hilton which has outdoor indoor pools, spa and gym facilities which all can enjoy. A spar shop. Hairdressers ,Play areas, tennis courts, shops, restaurants and pubs, there are football pitches and new paddle courts to be soon opened. the golf club is amazing with library and rooms to use not forgetting the restaurant and outdoor seating area. There’s plenty of walking areas too. We have an undercroft car parking area which belongs to our spacious apartment. There is also around 16 swimming pools in the resort. The market square is busy too on a Friday. Overall a beautiful complex to live on and you don’t have to play golf to live there either 🙂
Great video Shaun. Wow, that place looks lovely, looks expensive too. Even though there seemed to be some people about, it looked rather quiet. Keep them coming, we enjoy your vid's.
Quite an impressive looking place, great tour Shaun. Thanks for sharing
Hi we have stayed there it was so lovely but are villa was very overlooked but still very nice
Looks like a lovely place and is only 14 minutes drive from the place we are buying. Question for Jackie: are they ok with non-residents coming in and using the facilities ie the shops and bars etc? Thanks.
5 minutes from my house. Should have popped in for coffee. Is an impressive place. I pop in to spar occasionally and the shop opposite sells English papers at €2.50
I live 5 minutes from la torre golf resort on las terrazas golf
That was cool Shaun! Nice looking resort. I looked up the Double Tree hotel and the rates are quite reasonable. 👍
Wow that resort is massive, looks like a beautiful place to live thanks for sharing Shaun
Absolutely gorgeous club!
Amazing place Shaun, so well laid out and everything you need. how far are you from the coast. Many thanks for sharing.
looks very nice a bit different from Camposol.
There are so many golf resorts yet I don't know anybody my age that plays golf. Is that more of a British and/or baby-boomer hobby? If the latter, then I can only imagine the demand vs supply ratio will dropping off with time.
Also, do non-golfers live on those resorts and do they normally have to pay contribution fees for upkeep of the courses that they don't use?
Here in the states, you can only access these places, only if you lived there or were on the visitors list. Thanks for the share!! Shaun.
Beautiful resort, thanks for showing us around.
Thank you for the information regarding community fees Jaq Grafiq, I though they would be higher than that.
Great video Shaun, interesting to see how the other half live!
Thank you for the tour, it is a beautiful resort.
Nice review Shaun of my home resort! It’s a truly fab place to live. A car is necessary for living here, as it’s out in rural Spain, surrounded by fields, 20 mins to the nearest beach! On the resort though are swimming pools, an onsite supermarket, and the famous Kings College British school. 24 hour security, and all our gardening is done for us! I have a 3 storey 2 bed town house, community fee for it is less than €120 a month. Look forward to welcoming you back in summer Shaun when it’s at it’s liveliest!!!
so glad that the hotel was bought over and eventually re-opened, it was sitting empty for a few years. stayed in La Torre a few years ago…a huge resort. nice video as always.
That resort looks absolutely massive, Finally one that has been finished, Still driving on the wrong side of the road lol, smashing video mate.
